The Russian Olympic Committee (one of organizers of the main winter event in every four years) asked DDVB to develop the "special" corporate identity to use it in ROC visual communications within the Sochi Olympic Games.
To refresh existing design of ROC using the traditional symbols and make it work as a part of the overall visual context of the Olympic Games. To promote the Committee as a large organization able to solve global problems.
A key element of the «Olympic» image developed by DDVB is creative and recognizable pattern in the shape of "ice", which on the one hand makes the Organization’s visual communications look original, and on the other hand works well with the style of the Olympic Games.
This graphic design solution allowed diversifying a variety of media according to their specific. Awards and memorable signs look more valuable and deserved, corporate editions and "business" printed materials – composed and solid; the Innovative center ROC interior and exterior – modern, advanced, dynamic and positive.
The Committee "Olympic" identity was highly appreciated by guests of the Olympic Games and members of the Russian team. It adorns this triumphal for our country sport event.
